Deputy Ryan Clinkunbroomer Killed in Ambush Attack

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Ryan Clinkunbroomer was killed on Saturday, September 16.

The shooting occurred while Deputy Clinkunbroomer sat at a red light near the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department’s Palmdale station.

Deputy Clinkunbroomer was found unconscious in his patrol car.

Responders took him to Antelope Valley Medical Center where he later died.

A released video shows a car pulling along side of the Deputy Clinkunbroomer.

The shots cannot be heard or seen on the video.

It appears that this was the shooter based on the time of the video.

Sheriff Robert Luna gave an update while speaking from the Antelope Valley Medical Center.

The attack on Deputy Clinkunbroomer appears to be a targeted, ambush attack.

According to the Fraternal Order of Police, 83 law enforcement
