Democrat Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) has doubled down on her calls for violence against political opponents, despite receiving a warning from Attorney General Pam Bondi about the use of such rhetoric.
In a new interview, Crockett urged Democrats to “punch” their opponents in congressional races against Republicans.
Crockett bluntly demanded Democrats use physical violence to win elections specifically in the red state of Texas.
She made the remarks while reflecting on Rep. Colin Allred’s (D-TX) loss to Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) in November.
Crockett was asked during the interview how Democrats could turn things around.
“I think you punch,” Crockett said
“I think you’re OK with punching.”
Crockett spoke about resistance to the Trump administration in the interview with Lone Star Politics.
