Dem Senator Meets with Accused MS-13 Gang Abrego Garcia – El Salvador President Responds – EVOL

Maryland Democrat U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen met with deported illegal alien Kilmar Abrego Garcia in his native El Salvador on Thursday where he gazed deeply, lovingly and closely in the eyes of the accused wife-beater and MS-13 gang member.

Van Hollen, who flew to El Salvador this week with the goal of meeting Abrego Garcia and bringing him back to Maryland from the CECOT prison (Centro de Confinamiento del Terrorismo) where he is being held after being deported by the Trump administration. Van Hollen had been rebuffed in earlier attempts this week to meet with Abrego Garcia.

Abrego Garcia had settled in the Maryland suburbs of Washington, D.C., after illegally entering the U.S. over a decade ago. He has been found by an immigration court and appeals court to be a gang member of MS-13.

He was deported to El Salvador last month despite an immigration court barring his return there as part of the Trump administration’s campaign to deport Central and South American gang members following President Trump’s designation of them as Foreign Terrorist Organizations.

The administration says the FTO designation negates the order barring his return to El Salvador.
