Dem Lawyers Urge Congress to Ignore Electoral College, Stop Trump, Make Kamala President – EVOL

In yet another attempt to impede Donald Trump from gaining the presidency, on Thursday, The Hill ran an opinion piece by two lawyers, one of whom had served as president of the New York City Bar, in which they urged Congress to reject the Electoral College vote in order to stop Donald Trump from being inaugurated as president.

Evan Davis, who once served as editor-in-chief of the Columbia Law Review and later served as counsel to New York Democrat governor Mario Cuomo, and David Schulte, who had served as editor-in-chief of the Yale Law Journal, later became a friend and financial supporter of Barack Obama, and is now an investment banker, quoted the 14th Amendment, which states:

No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or
