There is a saying in government: If all you have is a hammer, everything you see is a nail. And if you’re a Woke leftist, everything you don’t like or understand must be ‘racist.’
Such was the case with an alleged “sports” publication called Deadspin, which continued its deadspin into sports culture oblivion with an ill-conceived and frankly ignorant post on Monday, which targeted a child for having fun at a football game.
During CBS’ broadcast of a Kansas City Chiefs game, the camera caught a glimpse of a young fan wearing a Native American headdress. It only showed the right half of his face, which was painted black.
Instead of doing more research, Woke sports media sites accused the kids of wearing “Black face,” a demeaning form of mockery of African-Americans popular in the 1930s, and have since failed to retract their accusations despite the abundance of known facts flying in the face of their half-baked narrative.
One of those sites was the Woke sports commentary publication Deadspin.
