Colonel Douglas Macgregor Warns Of Catastrophic Consequences Of War With Iran: ‘Nobody Is Thinking’

Retired U.S. Army Colonel Douglas Macgregor joined Tucker Carlson to discuss the ongoing crisis in the Middle East and what that could mean for the United States. MacGregor warned that war with Iran would very likely lead to World War III with Russia joining the campaign.

Carlson first played a clip of Senator Lindey Graham (R-SC) calling on the United States to bomb Iranian oilfields if the Hezbollah militia — an Iran-backed group — attacks Israel from Lebanon. Carlson speculated that many politicians on both sides of the aisle agree with Graham, even if they won’t say so publicly.

He then pivoted to Colonel Macgregor, asking “do you think we are moving towards war with Iran?”

“Yes, I do. And it looks like the chosen destination is indeed Armageddon,” MacGregor replied. “There doesn’t seem to be any real appreciation for the implications for us and frankly for Europe and the world as well as the Middle East of such action. Take for an example just on the economic side, about twenty percent of the world’s oil passes through the straits of Hormuz every month.
