CNN’s Scott Jennings Roasts Chuck Schumer Over His “Strong Letter” to Trump’s Harvard Funding Freeze – EVOL

CNN’s Scott Jennings mocked Democratic Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (NY) after sending a “strong letter” to Trump for withholding $2.8 billion in funding for Harvard due to its alleged inaction in fighting antisemitism.

Appearing on CNN’s State of the Union, Schumer was asked by co-host Dana Bash about his response to Trump “cracking down on Harvard and other universities because of their response, or lack thereof, to those antisemitic incidents.”

“It’s going to hurt every American,” Schumer said. “It’s going to hurt the kids at the universities who’ve had nothing to do with protesting,” and also hurt “medical research and other kinds of great research” at Harvard and other Universities.

“We sent him a very strong letter just the other day asking eight very strong questions about why this isn’t just a pretext,” Schumer added.

Jennings responded by mocking the left’s utter state of helplessness to the point of believing that a “strongly worded letter” would convince Trump to change his government policy on a core campaign issue.
