Several Democratic lawmakers have made it clear that they will continue referring to Donald Trump as a “threat to democracy,” even after the former president has been the target of two recent assassination attempts. This comes as a recent poll revealed that 28% of Democrats believe the country would be better off if Trump were dead.
Fox News correspondent Hillary Vaughn questioned several Democratic lawmakers in the Capitol following the second assassination attempt by Ryan Routh. When asked if they would stop labeling Trump a threat to democracy, all declined and stood by their statements.
