Browns Insider Suggests Raiders as Potential QB Trade Partner – EVOL

The Cleveland Browns are going to be a team to watch when it comes to the quarterback position. Right now, they hold four quarterbacks on the roster and many expect them to head into the 2025 NFL season with all of them on the 53-man roster.

Joe Flacco will be the team’s starter to open up the season. Behind him, Kenny Pickett is expected to be the primary backup with Dillon Gabriel at No. 3 and Shedeur Sanders at No. 4 on the depth chart.

While Pickett is expected to be the backup behind Flacco, plenty of trade rumors have been swirling with his name attached.

That suggestion has been made once again. This time, it was from ESPN Cleveland radio personality Tony Grossi.

In response to the news that the Las Vegas Raiders are looking for a veteran backup quarterback behind Geno Smith following the Aidan O’Connell injury, Grossi clearly suggested that the Browns could be a trade partner.
