Authorities have identified the man arrested on Sunday in connection with the second assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump.
According to Fox News, citing “two law enforcement sources,” Ryan Wesley Routh was taken into custody by Martin County officials after fleeing the scene.
Routh was unable to fire a shot at Trump. A Secret Service agent reportedly spotted a gun muzzle emerging from shrubbery on Trump’s golf course in Palm Beach, Florida, just a few holes ahead of where the former president was playing.
The agent immediately opened fire, prompting Routh to flee before being apprehended.
One user on social media has found Ryan’s social media account, where he has been posting ‘HATE’ for Trump, and expressing his support for Ukraine and supplying soldiers to Kyiv.
