According to a Kennedy campaign source, Aaron Rodgers, the outspoken NFL quarterback, has dropped out of out the RFK Jr. vice presidential sweepstakes.
Instead, Nicole Shanahan, a California-based attorney and entrepreneur who was previously married to Google co-founder Sergey Brinn, is expected to be Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s running mate in his independent presidential campaign, according to an exclusive report from Mediaite.
The Politics Brief has reached out to the Kennedy campaign for comment and will report any forthcoming reaction to the Mediaite report.
Shanahan, who was the force behind Kennedy’s well-received Super Bowl commercial, is reportedly anticipated to be appointed the running mate for the long-shot bid.
