Senators Chuck Grassley and Ron Johnson have now revealed that the Obama-Biden State Department, led by John Kerry, obstructed FBI efforts to arrest individuals linked to Iran’s nuclear and ballistic missile programs during negotiations on the Iran nuclear deal. Internal FBI records show that the State Department halted arrests in multiple cases between 2015 and 2016 due to political reasons, compromising national security. The Trump administration later lifted these blocks, leading to successful arrests. Grassley and Johnson seek accountability for this interference.
