Blue City Woman Arrested After Unthinkable Act Goes Viral – EVOL

A disturbing video captured an elderly woman being violently shoved from a Boston bus earlier this month, highlighting ongoing concerns about safety on public transportation. 

The MBTA Transit Police announced Wednesday that they had identified and arrested a suspect in connection with the Sept. 8 incident in Roxbury, Massachusetts.

The assault took place just after 1 p.m. near the intersection of Martin Luther King Boulevard and Warren Street, about three miles from Fenway Park. 

Security footage from inside the bus shows a woman reportedly pushing a passenger while maneuvering a baby stroller. 

The elderly woman struggled to hold on before a second, more forceful shove sent her tumbling face-first onto the sidewalk.

Witnesses described the scene as chaotic. 

“Everyone on the bus was trying to figure out what was happening. We just saw an elderly lady fall and didn’t know how to react,” said Mark Reeves in an interview with WHDH, per the New York Post. 

The bus driver and nearby passengers assisted the woman while paramedics treated her for roughly 20 minutes. 

Authorities reported that she remained conscious and avoided life-threatening injuries, though she did suffer several broken bones.
