The funding for the pro-Palestinian, antisemitic protests on university campuses nationwide can be traced back to President Joe Biden’s own political donors. This financial connection may shed light on why he is hesitant to condemn these protests and unwilling to launch an investigation into them. Last month, when asked to respond to the protests, Biden gave a perplexing answer, stating that he condemned antisemitism but also condemned those who lacked understanding of the Palestinian situation.
This response left observers puzzled. NGO Monitor and other organizations have conducted research into the donors supporting these protests and have discovered familiar names from the Democratic Party’s funding sources, including George Soros’ Open Society Foundations and other liberal philanthropies. Notably, Biden’s Department of Justice has refused to investigate the civil rights abuses occurring within these “encampments,” which target Jews, journalists, and others. Additionally, they have declined to consider RICO conspiracy charges.
