President Joe Biden claimed on Sunday that he had run a campaign free from scandal and critics were quick to point out the errors in that particular statement.
“We’ve run a campaign that’s basically scandal free. That’s hard to do in American politics these days,” Biden said.
Biden made the comments during the Democratic National Committee’s holiday reception in Washington, D.C. — where he also weighed in on the possible political future of Vice President Kamala Harris.
The Trump War Room’s Jacob Schneider posted a brief clip from the event along with a caption that read, BIDEN: “We’ve run a campaign that’s basically scandal free. That’s hard to do in American politics.”
