Biden administration puts border wall materials on auction: report – EVOL

In its final weeks, the Biden administration is reportedly expediting the removal of unused border wall materials from the southern border, selling them through government auctions.

This move, widely criticized by opponents, is seen as a deliberate effort to hinder President-elect Donald Trump’s plans to resume border wall construction.

According to The Daily Wire, government contractor DP Trucking LLC has been tasked with transporting approximately half a mile of border wall materials daily from three key stations in Arizona: Nogales, Tucson, and Three Points.

A border patrol agent familiar with the operations revealed that the goal is to clear the materials from the border before Christmas.

“They are pulling it all off the border,” the agent said, sharing video footage of the wall components being loaded onto flatbed trucks. The materials are then transported north to be auctioned on GovPlanet, a platform for surplus government equipment sales.

GovPlanet’s website displays extensive stacks of unused border wall sections available for auction. Bidding on each portion begins at just $5. The most recent sale occurred on December 4.

Videos obtained by The Daily Wire show the materials being prepared for transport and stacked high on trucks, fueling criticism
