At least five people shot inside Bronx subway station in scary… – EVOL

A man was killed and at least five others – including two teenagers – were injured when gunfire erupted at a Bronx train station during rush-hour Monday afternoon, police and law enforcement sources said. 

As many as 10 shots rang out at the Mount Eden Avenue station after a fight broke out aboard a northbound 4 train at around 4:40 p.m., creating “total pandemonium,” according to witnesses and sources. 

Police confirmed a 35-year-old man was killed in the shooting. His identity was not released pending family notification.

A 14-year-old girl, a 15-year-old boy, a 29-year-old woman and two men – ages 71 and 28 – were also shot, police said. All five surviving victims were hospitalized in stable condition.

Police sources said there may have been two shooters. The argument, which started on the train, spilled out onto the platform and that’s when bullets began flying, the sources added. 

It wasn’t immediately clear what sparked the feud, but authorities are seeking two possible suspects tied to the incident, sources said.
