Radical Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has ignited rumors that she’s planning a presidential run in 2028 after her “Team AOC” account dropped a campaign-style video on social media.
In a caption alongside the video, the account declares:
“Do not let them trick you into thinking we are enemies.
“Do not let them trick you into thinking that we can be separated into rural and urban, black and white and Latino.
“We are one,” the post proclaims.
It comes as AOC has been touring the United States with fellow socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) on their “Fighting Oligarchy” tour.
Despite claiming the tour is part of a “political revolution,” the rallies have been mostly dedicated to bashing President Donald Trump and Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
The tour appears to be an effort to transfer Sanders’ national support base over to AOC.
Americans are now speculating about whether the New York Democrat is launching a shadow campaign for president.
Ocasio-Cortez’s campaign account posted a video on X this week that invigorated rumors that the four-term Democrat from New York City and a progressive leader is plotting a run for the White House.
