AOC Spends Most of DNC Speech Asking Crowd to Follow Her on Instagram – EVOL

United States Representative and popular social media user Alexandria Ocasio-Ortez spent most of her speech at this week’s Democratic National Convention imploring the crowd to follow her on Instagram, sources confirmed.

“It’s time to do the right thing for our future, and for our children’s future,” said Ortez, while livestreaming the event to her social media followers. “And that means following me on every conceivable social media platform you can find me on. Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, the list goes on. You haven’t done your duty until you spend about an hour a day catching up with everything I’ve posted.”

Despite drawing a standing ovation at the close of her remarks, many viewers of the speech were left underwhelmed with Cortez’s principles.

“Wait, that’s all I was supposed to get out of that speech?” asked independent voter Marvin Williams, who watched the event broadcast. “That we should follow her on Instagram? I get that it’s a young people thing, but wow, that’s really all she cares about, huh?”

As of press time, Cortez had closed her speech with an offhanded remark reminding everyone to vote, or whatever.
