Alex Thompson Details Harris Campaign’s Stunning Snub of Joe Biden on CNN: ‘They Don’t Believe That the President Is Helpful’ – EVOL

Axios reporter and CNN contributor Alex Thompson detailed the Kamala Harris campaign’s latest snub of President Joe Biden on Tuesday morning, telling Kasie Hunt that Harris’s team doesn’t “believed that the president is helpful” to their cause.

After playing a clip of Biden voting early and telling reporters that it was a sweet, rather than bittersweet moment for him, Hunt asked Thompson to talk about his coverage of Harris’s stiff arm of Biden.

“I mean look, if they did want him [Biden] to campaign for her [Harris], he would be campaigning for her,” observed Hunt.

“Yes, and even when he campaigned in Pittsburgh on Saturday, the campaign sends out a daily email of all the surrogates — includes actors,  and actresses, and members of the cabinet — they did not mention that Joe Biden was going to be in Pittsburgh on Saturday, even in that email,” noted Thompson.

“So they just left the president of the United States off the list?” asked Hunt.

“They did. And they could claim oversight, but the fact of the matter is, they don’t believe that the president is helpful in this final stretch,” replied Thompson. “Now, Joe Biden and even some of the people
