Saudi Arabia pulled out all the stops to welcome President Donald Trump as he arrived to meet with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
Air Force One appeared to receive an escort from Saudi Arabian fighter jets as Trump arrived in the country on Tuesday.
In a post on X, White House Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino shared a video of jets flying alongside the U.S. president’s plane, stating:
“Air Force One about to go wheels down in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia with Saudi F-15 fighter jets bringing us in.
“On behalf of President Trump, THANK YOU!”
There were reportedly at least five jets.
Two jets flew on the left side of AF1 and three flew on the right.
