In a moving display of support, country music fans witnessed a powerful tribute to Charlie Kirk during a recent sold-out concert by Georgia-born singer Gavin Adcock.
The performance came just days after Kirk, the conservative influencer and Turning Point USA co-founder, was tragically shot at Utah Valley University.
Adcock, mid-set, paused to raise his microphone and lead the crowd in a loud, unified chant: “Charlie Kirk! Charlie Kirk!” Within seconds, thousands of voices filled the arena, echoing Kirk’s name with thunderous intensity.
The moment drew tears, applause, and a sense of solidarity from concertgoers, many of whom were visibly shaken by the events surrounding Kirk’s death.
Following the performance, Adcock posted on Instagram to explain his motivations.
“I didn’t get the privilege of meeting Charlie Kirk, but anybody that loves Jesus is a friend of mine,” he wrote. “His outspoken beliefs were not silenced two days ago. His voice is now stronger than ever and will make an impact for centuries. There is not a thing in the world you can say to make this better, but my thoughts and prayers go out to every single person that is hurting from this horrible tragedy.”
