Barron Trump has relocated to the White House to continue his college education at New York University’s Washington D.C. campus.
The 19-year-old first son now resides at the presidential residence while attending classes in the nation’s capital.
The youngest Trump child previously spent his freshman year at NYU’s main Greenwich Village campus in Manhattan.
He lived at Trump Tower in midtown Manhattan and commuted to Washington Square for his classes.
Barron frequently traveled between New York and Palm Beach, Florida, to spend time with his father at Mar-a-Lago during his first year of college.
His new living arrangement places him much closer to both President Trump and first lady Melania Trump.
NYU’s Washington D.C. campus operates as a smaller, specialized program.
The campus accepts up to 120 students each semester for focused academic programs.
The D.C. campus offers courses designed for students pursuing careers in politics, public policy, history, economics and journalism.
These specialized programs align with career paths in government and public service.
President Trump first revealed his son’s college choice during an interview with the New York Post in August 2024.
Trump discussed Barron’s academic performance and interests during the conversation.
“He’s a little on the tall side.
