Teen Driver in Rudy Giuliani Car Crash Identified – EVOL

New Hampshire State Police have identified the driver involved in the car accident that injured former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani over the weekend.

Lauren Kemp, 19, of Concord, was behind the wheel of a Honda HR-V that struck the rear of the Ford Bronco carrying Giuliani on Saturday evening, police confirmed Sunda. No charges have been filed, and the crash remains under investigation.

Giuliani’s Injuries

Giuliani, 81, was hospitalized after suffering a fractured thoracic vertebra, lacerations, contusions, and injuries to his left arm and lower leg.

His head of security, Michael Ragusa, said that Giuliani’s condition “continues to improve” and he is expected to be discharged in the coming days.

Ted Goodman, Giuliani’s spokesperson who was driving the Bronco, and Kemp also suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to hospitals for treatment.

Circumstances of the Crash

Police said troopers were already on Interstate 93 investigating a domestic violence report shortly before 10 p.m. when they witnessed the collision in the northbound lanes.

Both vehicles struck the median and were left “heavily damaged.”
