Top Trump Official Reveals Shocking 2028 News – EVOL

Secretary of State Marco Rubio just gave his most direct answer yet on a potential run for president in 2028.

In an interview with Fox News host Lara Trump, Rubio hinted at future ambitions but remained focused on his current role serving under President Donald Trump.

Rubio, who ran against Trump in 2016, has consistently polled as the second most likely Republican to win the nomination in 2028—trailing only Vice President J.D. Vance.

“You are talked about quite frequently as a possible contender in 2028,” Lara asked. “Do you have your sights set outside of the State Department?”

Rubio praised Vance and kept his answer vague—but noticeably didn’t rule anything out.

“Well, I think J.D. Vance would be a great nominee,” Rubio said. “He’s doing a great job as vice president. He’s a close friend and I hope he intends to do it.”

Rubio then acknowledged the limitations of his current position, as Trending Politics reported.

“There’s actually rules against me being involved in domestic politics,” he added. “I want to do this job. Honestly, you never know what the future holds. You never rule things out… things change very quickly.”
