Exactly one year after a would-be assassin nearly took President Trump’s life, the White House has released a stunning new video ad honoring his survival — and the unstoppable rise of the Make America Great Again movement.
The ad, released on Sunday, July 13, marks the anniversary of the 2024 assassination attempt at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, where a bullet missed Trump’s head by millimeters.

The video begins by showcasing Trump’s business legacy, then cuts to a 1988 Oprah Winfrey interview, where a young Trump first floated the idea of running for president.
“Donald Trump seems to always get stronger with challenge,” the screen reads.
It then jumps to Obama’s infamous roast at the 2011 White House Correspondents’ Dinner — the moment many believe lit the fire under Trump’s decision to run.
