Watch: Congressman Caught on Video ‘Groping’ Colleague on House Floor – EVOL

In a bizarre moment caught on camera during the debate over President Trump’s “Big, Beautiful Bill,” Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN) was seen grabbing the backside of a fellow Republican on the House floor.

The incident happened just after an amendment vote failed. Rep. Mike Lawler (R-NY) was seen speaking with a colleague when Burchett walked by, reached out, and grabbed the other congressman’s rear. The mystery lawmaker was only visible from behind.

Burchett turned and laughed after the incident, waving at the stunned colleague.

While no one in Congress has publicly addressed it, the clip sparked jokes across social media — with many shrugging it off as harmless horseplay between colleagues.

Some compared it to athletes giving a “good game” pat. Others pointed out that Congress should be more focused on passing historic legislation than clowning around.
