Powerball Player Wins $527M Jackpot — As Store Workers Who Sold Ticket Celebrate – EVOL

A California Powerball lottery player won the estimated $527 million jackpot on Saturday night, only the second time the game’s largest prize was awarded in 2025.

The winning numbers were 7, 11, 21, 53, 61, and the red Powerball of 2.

The winning ticket was sold at the 7-Eleven store located on North Euclid Street in Anaheim, the California State Lottery announced.

Ecstatic employees at the Anaheim store learned the news through a phone call revealing the giant jackpot prize.

“My god, we got the jackpot!” one worker told another employee, according to video obtained by KABC. “From our store. We have sold the ticket and we got it. Someone bought from here. That’s amazing.”

The unidentified winner can choose between the estimated $527 million jackpot paid out over 30 annual payments or a one-time lump sum of $243.8 million.

The lucky winner had a 1 in 292,201,338 chance of winning the grand prize

The 7-Eleven will be awarded with a $1 million check, the maximum prize allocated to retailers that sell the ticket.

Five players won $1 million prizes with the Match 5 win, correctly matching the five white ball numbers.

The new millionaires hail from Ohio, Oregon
