Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker has officially endorsed Donald Trump for the 2024 presidential election, citing Trump’s strong pro-life stance as the primary reason for his support. Butker’s decision comes as Vice President Kamala Harris pushes for federal legislation that would legalize abortion nationwide.

In an interview with Laura Ingraham, where Butker had previously endorsed Missouri Senator Josh Hawley, the conversation shifted to his presidential pick. When asked if he would support Trump, Butker responded, “I’m supporting the president that’s going to be the most pro-life. I think Donald Trump is right on the most crucial topic for me.”

He continued, “I want us to be fighting for the most vulnerable, fighting for the unborn, and that’s what we should prioritize. I think you have to vote for whoever is going to be the most pro-life.” Butker also emphasized the importance of putting faith first, adding, “We have to be prayerful men that put God first, and I think that’s what’s going to be best for our country.”
