White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is compensated well to deceive. When one becomes so accustomed to deception that distinguishing between lies and truth becomes difficult, seeking guidance from experts becomes necessary.
In the recent news conference, Jean-Pierre insisted that President Joe Biden’s physicians do not recommend a cognitive evaluation. She went on to claim that Biden “successfully completes a cognitive test every day.” KJP might need a cognitive test of her own!
During Wednesday’s briefing, Biden underwent his yearly physical examination, which did not involve a cognitive assessment. Given the indications of cognitive decline he has exhibited at the age of 81, it was not unexpected that Jean-Pierre would be questioned about it during her briefing at the White House.
“The president doesn’t need a cognitive test,” she told reporters. “That is not my assessment.”
She may have been avoiding accountability or perhaps deep down she was resisting the idea of telling such a huge lie.
