If you were dialed in during the 2020 election cycle, Governor Ron DeSantis’s “Great American Comeback” slogan will sound very familiar because Trump said it first.
The Trump campaign noticed too and released an email that reads “Amid a catastrophic failure to launch, Ron DeSantis announced his candidacy with ‘Great American Comeback,’ a phrase stolen from President Donald J. Trump’s 2020 State of the Union address.”
