Poll Shows Only One Democrat Has a Chance against Trump in November – EVOL

A new poll of hypothetical matchups for the November election has revealed that only one Democrat has a chance against President Donald Trump.

A Reuters/Ipsos poll released this week shows only former First Lady Michelle Obama could compete against Trump.

All other Democrat names, including President Joe Biden and VP Kamala Harris, would get beat by Trump, according to the poll.

However, Obama has said several times that she will not run for president in 2024.

The Hill reported that Trump even fell far behind Michelle Obama, according to the poll.

Michelle Obama bested Trump in the poll by 11 points, garnering 50% compared to Trump’s 39%.

In hypothetical matchups with other possible Biden replacements, Governors Gavin Newsom and Gretchen Whitmer, Trump came out on top by three and five points, respectively.

The poll of 1,070 U.S. adults was conducted just days after Biden’s poor debate performance.

The debate has led to a flood of calls from Democrats and Left-leaning political commentators calling for Biden to step out of the race.

Many are calling for Biden to clear the way for another candidate to run against Trump.

Obama has repeatedly said she is not considering a presidential run this cycle.
