Police Dismember Vicious Rumor About Dad Who Saved Daughter During Cruise – EVOL

A father who heroically saved his 5-year-old daughter after she fell from a Disney cruise ship has been cleared of false accusations that he caused the accident, according to authorities who investigated the incident.

The Broward County Sheriff’s Office announced Wednesday that security footage and witness statements confirmed the father did not place his daughter on the ship’s railing, debunking malicious rumors that had spread across social media platforms.

The dramatic rescue unfolded Sunday morning at approximately 11:30 AM aboard the $900 million Disney Dream as it sailed from the Bahamas to Fort Lauderdale. 

The young girl fell from the ship’s fourth deck through a porthole after sitting on the railing, creating a scene that would captivate hundreds of witnesses and spark widespread attention.

Sheriff Gregory Tony stated that the girl was sitting on the railing and fell backwards through a porthole, but emphasized that her father did not put her there. 

This crucial detail would later become central to debunking the false narrative that emerged online. 

The mother immediately alerted her husband, who had not witnessed the initial fall, setting in motion a rescue that would test both parental instincts and maritime emergency procedures.
