New York City used to be proud of its status as a sanctuary city because it never had to deal with the influx of migrants that border states and other red states have had to deal with in recent years.
Since the governors of red states started shipping migrants off to blue states and cities like New York to give them a dose of what they deal with on a daily basis, Mayor Eric Adams is starting to change his tune.
