Mitch McConnell photographed in wheelchair at DCA airport amid health issues – EVOL

A photo of Senator Mitch McConnell in a wheelchair at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport on November 6 has sparked renewed concerns about the 82-year-old’s health and fitness for office. The image, captured by The Floridian Press and shared on social media, shows McConnell visibly struggling after a recent fall.

The Kentucky Senator suffered a fall during a Senate Republican luncheon on Tuesday, reportedly spraining his wrist. Subsequent footage taken by The Floridian Press on Wednesday shows McConnell barely able to walk, requiring assistance from three individuals.

The incident has reignited public and political discussions about McConnell’s ability to perform his duties. The video, widely circulated online, has prompted questions about whether the longtime Republican leader should consider stepping down.

This isn’t the first time McConnell’s health has been under scrutiny. In 2022, he experienced several “freezing episodes” during public appearances. At a press conference in Covington, Kentucky, McConnell became unresponsive, staring blankly until aides intervened to end the session.

A similar incident occurred during a Senate press conference, where McConnell again appeared catatonic and unable to respond to questions. These episodes have led to widespread speculation about underlying health conditions.
