Marianne Williamson, a former Democratic presidential candidate, warned fellow Democrats that dismissing claims about Haitian migrants eating pets could harm their electoral chances, also stating, “voodoo is real.” She criticized Democrats, labeling them “smug elite jerks who think they’re too smart to listen to anyone outside their own silo.”

This followed reports from Springfield, Ohio, residents on social media alleging that Haitian migrants had been capturing and consuming pets and geese. Williamson cautioned against continuing to target Trump over the “eating cats” issue, stating in a now-deleted post on X (formerly Twitter), “Haitian voodoo is in fact real,” according to The Blaze. She added that dismissing such stories “confirms in the minds of many voters the stereotype of Democrats as smug elite jerks who think they’re too smart to listen to anyone outside their own silo.”
