Former Tonight Show host Jay Leno has addressed rumors that his recent injuries from unfortunate accidents are the result of not paying gambling debts to the mob.
During his appearance on The Club Random Podcast, host Bill Maher asked Leno, “It’s a conspiracy theory since you’ve had three accidents that you actually have gambling debts and are being beaten up by the mob.”
Leno responded, “I love the idea that the mob would drive to Greenberg, Pennsylvania, wait outside the Hampton Inn on a kind of sleety, rainy day to throw me down a hill.”

Leno was referencing his brutal fall outside of a Pennsylvania Hampton Inn that left him with a severely bruised face.
