Former President Jimmy Carter’s funeral procession begins in Georgia – EVOL

Former President Jimmy Carter’s nearly week-long public goodbye began Saturday in Georgia where he died Sunday at the age of 100.

The Carter family, including the former president’s four children and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, accompanied their patriarch in a procession that began at the Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in Americus.
