Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is facing blowback this week over her noticeable silence on the final report from Special Counsel John Durham.
Pelosi’s office reportedly did not respond to several media requests for comment from Fox News after Durham’s report that found “the Department and the FBI failed to uphold their mission of strict fidelity to the law” during the origins of the Trump-Russia investigation.
Pelosi’s refusal to comment comes as she made a slew of comments over the years implying that Trump was guilty and colluded with Russia to win the 2016 presidential election. Pelosi even took it as far as claiming Trump’s campaign played some sort of a role in working with Russia to undermine the U.S. One Twitter user said Pelosi’s comments should have ended her career.
